Herbert Makanga, Gatete are some of ISO torturers

"Patriotic Ugandans have started revealing details of what takes place in the dreaded torture chambers and safe houses of President Myseveni's notorious regime.

Impeccable sources have confirmed to Radio Katwe that there are several intelligence men whose main job is to torture people who have been arrested and are being held in detention.

One of these is Herbert Makanga of ISO. He used to be at ISO headquarters in Kampala but was recently transferred to Mbarara where he is the ISO commander on the ground.

Another notorious torture specialist is a man called Gatere who is a Ugandan Munyarwanda and has been the chairman of the Uganda Banyarwanda Association.

Reports say that he tortures businessmen who come from Congo to Uganda Rwandese who come to Uganda for business or other visits.

When the Museveni regime decides to arrest and torture Rwandese citizens inside Uganda, the man they use to do the dirty job is Gatete.

Disgruntled sources close to CMI say one man who should not be left out of a list of state torturers is Lt. Ddamulira the person who was taking money to bribe judges like Remmy Kasule. He is not just a CMI courier but tortures Ugandans there at Kitante Road."
