MUSEVENI FAMILY'S WEALTH REVEALED

Sources at the African Development Bank in Tunis say that the Garden City Complex in Kampala is owned by Uganda's First Family.

The sources say that In order to make the building of Garden City Complex look legitimate, Museveni secured a loan from the African Development Bank in Abidjan, before it moved to Tunis.

He used the loan borrowed from the ADB to finance the building of Garden City and then with the money he had stolen, he paid back the loan, so that the process looked legitimat.

According to information that the late country head of Transparency International, Robinah Kiyingi, the personal fortune of the Museveni family is estimated at $4billion.

Some of the businesses owned by Kampala businessmen working as fronts for the First family are HotLoaf Bakery, UTL, Crane Bank Limited, Garden City shopping centre, Imperial Resort Beach Hotel Entebbe, Imperial Botannical Beach Hotel Entebbe, Kampala International University, Regent Lake View Hotel Mbarara, Simu 4 U public telephone booth network, Kampala Parents School, and Speke Resort Munyonyo.

This is why during the riots to protest the arrest of FDC leader Colonel Besigye in November, crowds attacked and ransacked the Simu 4 U booths because they knew who owned them.

Museveni's son Muhoozi Kainerugaba is a member of the Crane Bank board. Some people think that this is why Crane Bank has always sponsored the "Andrew Mwenda Live" programme of Andrew Mwenda, in order to keep him silent.

Feb-06-06 Update

Sheraton Kampala. Museveni fronted the Ethiopian/Saudi man, owner of Sheraton Addis to acquire it. He used him again to borrow money from the Private sector arm of the ADB to renovate it but this money was diverted so that project is still lagging two years after it was supposed to be completed. It is conceivable that this debt may end up on Uganda's national debt books, to be repaid by Ugandan tax payers now through future generations.
