OPERATIVES AND INFORMERS IN MUSEVENIS SPY AGENCIES
Lt. Ddamulira, CMI. He has now become well-known because he is the operative who was assigned by Colonel Leo Kyanda the Chief of Military Intelligence to deliver the bribe money to Judge Remmy Kasule.
Mulindwa Muwonge, presenter at Super FM. He was once a staunch NRM critic but was intimidated into working for ISO. In May 2005, he was seen leaving Ban Cafe restaurant in the company of a senior ESO officer, Lucien Katsigazi, who is the Second Secretary at the Uganda High Commission in Nairobi.
Emmy Allio, New Vision reporter. A long-serving ISO informer. He normally writes on security and defence matters in the Great Lakes region.
Joseph Luzige, ISO officer. He was once very active as a member of the Uganda Young Democrats but later he crossed over and joined ISO. The question is whether he was always in ISO but was sent to the UYD to disorganise them or he joined ISO after being intimidated into doing so.
John Nsumbe, Monitor photographer and ISO informer. He usually goes to State House for press conferences and while they check other reporters, Nsimbe just walks through the security checks. He has been getting personal phone calls from Museveni instructing him on what angles of photos to take during Musevenifs campaigns in 2006.
Julius Bagonza, Sheraton Hotel Manager. He was recruited into ISO by Brigadier Henry Tumukunde and his work is to spy on foreign dignitaries who check into the Sheraton.
Joe Burua, ISO informer. He works as a sales executive at CBS Radio Buganda but his real work is to keep an eye on the CBS staff and report to ISO headquarters on what is going inside the Buganda establishment and the radio, which the government is sensitive to.
Basil Tyaba, Computer specialist and ISO agent. It was Tyaba who was sent by ISO in 2001 to go to the Electoral Commission computers and tabulate the results to give Museveni the so-called 69 percent win, when it was Kizza Besigye who won the election. Because of the massive rigging, the results coming in showed that Museveni had won more votes than the votes cast and Tyaba was supposed to correct that showing. He worked for a full night with Amama Mbabazifs daughter, Lenina Mbabazi.
David Katanywa, Uganda Revenue Authority and ISO agent. He keeps an AK-47 rifle at home and in the 2001 election, he and other ISO and Military Intelligence operatives under the command of Colonel Noble Mayombo used to go to the homes of opponents of Musevenifs regime disguised as robbers and cause havoc. Some of these people were arrested and ended up in Makindye military police barracks.
Julius Kivuna, attached to ESO. Kivuna was the Protocol Officer who Ugandans saw on their TVs leading presidential candidates to the nominating table at Namboole stadium in 2005 to bring in their papers and fees. He was until recently an ESO officer attached to the Ugandan embassy in Tokyo.
Dennis Njoojo Kyazze, ISO agent. He used to be in Buganda Road Primary School in the 1980s.
Andrew Kasura, ISO agent. He was a Guild President of Makerere University and has worked in ISO since he left Makerere in 1989. He used to hang around the Post Office much of his time and that is where he was stationed. His problem is that he drinks too much.
David Muhooli, Editor of Sunday Vision. He has been in ISO for many years and used to recruit students into ISO from Makerere University.
Lt. Michael Katungi, CMI operative. He has been on the 2006 campaign trail on behalf of Museveni.
Charles Rwomushana, ISO, attached to State House. He was a former Guild President of Makerere University and joined ISO. He had become very vocal in recent years but these days he is so quiet.
Sgt. Humphrey Babukika, ESO agent. He is one of the most feared and deadly ESO men because he works or used to work as the chief state assassin. He is the one who shot dead Amon Bazira the NALU rebel leader and he was the man who fired the missiles that brought down the plane of Rwandese President Juvenal Habyarimana in 1994.
Simon Kaheru, works for BA Tobacco and formerly with New Vision. Kaheru joined ISO soon after finishing Makerere University.
Tiberius Muhirwa, ISO agent who was recruited during his Makerere University days by the then ISO director General Brig. Jim Muhwezi. This is the reason why Muhwezi manoeuvred to have Muhirwa put in charge of the Global Fund on AIDS, TB and Malaria, because he had worked with him
Prof. John Rwomushana, an External Security Organization operative, under cover as a research specialist with the Joint Clinical Research Center.
Stephen Ndawula, joined ISO at its inception and is a specialst in communications, i.e wire tapping. Reported to be working for ESO in Canada, under cover of pursuing further studies.Genevieve Birungi Namusisi, was recruited into ISO while still at Makerere to spy on unsuspecting Nkobazambogo members. Believed to be based in the UK now, working for ESO. She covers much of Western Europe posing as a businesswoman. She is easy on the eyes (very beautiful) and many have fallen prey. Be careful.
Bbale Lwanga Charles, allegedly under cover as an assylum seeker in Sweden. In the past he boasted of founding a political party called NPO in Uganda. Last known to be living in a camp called Karlskrona. It maybe prudent to be cautious around him.
Rose Nyonintono,an informer for CMI. Owns (owned?) a shop at "Kisimenti", which is a cover for Saleh's smuggling racket, and also runs businesses for Jovia Akandwanaho (Saleh's wife). Entertained Congolese Gold dealers from the DRC, in April 2004 in London. Her brother also works for ESO.
Jim Mugunga, an ISO officer who worked at the Monitor for several years as a business reporter and is now with the Privatisation Unit under the guise of an Information Officer. Jim used to casually walk into the office of ISO director general Brigadier Jim Muhwezi and used to tell people to join ISO because "there is money.h
Alex "Kelli" Rukundo, a computer specialist in counter-intelligence. The man speaks polished English and is soft spoken and wears glasses. He usually walks into State House and nobody checks him because he reports directly to President Museveni. In fact when he got married in 2005, Museveni paid most of the budget, if not the whole wedding budget.
( Radio Katwe has obtained after some difficulty, a detailed computer log of Rukundos recent unsuccessful efforts against Radio Katwe.)
Mugabi Nsubuga, is an ISO technical officer. This fellow works at the Monitor radio KFM as a technician but that is not his real job. He does technical work for ISO and in January he was one of those technicians who took part in the testing of the MTN, Celtel, and UTL mobile networks ahead of the Feb. 23 election, whereby they will block the networks on election day so that rigging can go on unhindered. So when you try to call on February 23 and your phone cannot go through, contact Mugabi the ISO man and ask him to help you get connected to your friends. When President Museveni visited KFM radio in October 2004, Nsubuga worked with ISO to jam the Monitor studio phone lines so that Museveni would not get embarrassing calls that he could not answer.
Paul Muhumuza, attached to Military Intelligence. This man is a businessman on the outside but his real work is as an intelligence officer. He is one of those people who handles Museveni's dirty business dealings and one time the "Indian Ocean Newsletter" even wrote about him. You can visit him at his offices at Crested Towers and ask him how Museveni's business is doing. He should be able to let you know.
Geoffrey Seruyange, is also an ISO informer based at the Daily Monitor paper like his fellow photographer John Nsimbe. The NRM regime has always seen Monitor as its enemy so it had to make sure it had a strong presence at Monitor with people like Seruyange.
Ian Kangahho, is an ISO agent who is based at Entebbe International Airport. When you see him walking up and down and smoking like a chimney, you can think he is just a customs or airport logistics officer. Kangahho is related to the First Lady Janet Museveni and he is an ISO operative. So please watch your back when you see him.
Tony Geoffrey Owana, ISO agent and new Editor of the Red Pepper. If you read through Red Pepper, you will see that Owana is the only writer for that paper who has a wealth of information on the past years of Obote and the NRA "struggle." He has close ties with the army magazine "Tarehe Sita". Recently he has been trying to serialise and interprete a hot document circulating on the Internet called "The Real Museveni" which shows the shocking and true murderous character of Museveni. Owana was trying to suggest that the document was the work of the Byanyima family but in recent weeks he has stopped serialising it. It seems Owana got a phone call from his bosses in State House telling him to stop it because instead of defending Museveni's history, Owana's series were instead exposing the sensitive history which Museveni has been hiding from Ugandans and the world. That history may show that Yoweri Museveni was the real killer behind some of the murders of prominent Ugandans during the Amin regime.
