Museveni gives Cheeye 200 million shillings to destroy Besigye

Reports reaching Radio Katwe say that President Museveni gave ISO director for economic planning, Teddy Seezi Cheeye, 200 million shillings to run very negative stories as a way to demoralise the FDC supporters.

Cheeye in his Uganda Confidential in early October arrogantly suggested what he called scientific reasons why Besigye would not return to Uganda from South Africa.

The whole intelligence system in Uganda were convinced Besigye was not coming.

Milton Obote's death deviated the State's eyes and ears from preparing themselves in case Besigye decided to come. On the other issue Cheeye laughed at Besigye's foolishness for having come to Uganda.

Cheeye compared Besigye's arrest and that of Pasteur Bizimungu, Rwanda's former President who is rotting in Prison since 2002.

Vendors told Cheeye's agents that his "Uganda Confidential" newsletter is rejected by the public. So Cheeye sold his 2,000 shillings news letter to vendors to motivate them.

To his surprise, people outrightly rejected what they termed as trash. Some vendors confirmed to Radio Katwe that their customers told them that even if they were given free Uganda Confidential they will not take them.

So Cheeye has got free money that Museveni misuses from the state coffers. Cheeye and the Intelligence have got it wrong in several accounts to predict Besigye's moves.
